Dear friends at Tandem, Terry and I have used Tandem for the general automotive maintenance of all the vehicles we have owned over the past twenty years. From mufflers to oil changes, from tires to brakes, you have provided consistent, courteous, thorough, and timely service. When I brought in my 1998 Chevy Venture in 2007 with low mileage but an engine that proved irrepairable, you sought out a cost effective solution for us. A remanufactured engine was quickly installed and I was able to continue use of the car. When in September of this year (2010), it came down to reality that the remanufactured engine was bad, you assured us of the warranty and the engine woudl be replaced for free. To find out the supplier had gone bankrupt did not stop you from again finding another engine to install and get us on the road again. Too often these days, people are quick to make a buck and if something goes wrong, quick to deny any responsibility. it is the patience shown and the respect extended to us for which Terry and I are extremely grateful.

Just wanted you to know that I sure appreciate that the courtesy driver and another guy, came back and started the car. I don't know, perhaps you sent them, but their presence and starting that car sure meant a lot to me. While in Dubuque on vacation, the last week in August, we experienced some car problems. Being 200 miles from home we were very concerned about getting our car looked at and given a fair assessment. A service station downtown could not see us- so they recommended Tandem's. We drove over and explained our problems. Several customers came and went while we waited. We noticed that each worker was very attentive to everyone's needs. From a simple tire replacement to a major oil problem. We were very impressed. After 2 hours of waiting, we began to think the worst. A worker approached us in the waiting room. First he apologized for not coming out to talk with us sooner. Then told us he had taken our car out twice and put it on the machine to analyze it twice. Nothing was wrong with our car and there would be "no charge". We were so surprised. We felt that any other repair shop would have "stuck it to us", especially since we were from out of town. We wanted to take this time to say thank you.

To all those at Tandem Tire who expedited the work on my "Olds" Thursday afternoon: I wanted to express my most heartfelt thanks once again to all who helped to hurry along the work on my car. We were four stranded women one of whom was very sick, in a town we were unfamiliar with. Bringing a car in so late in the day-4:00-4:30-and leaving by 6:00 was incredible. A special thanks to the young service tech who tested the car twice; He was terrific!

This note is to express my gratitude for the patience and service received from employee Don at the desk, concerning problems with my 1991Chevy Lumina. Don tried to explain mechanical things so i could undderstand them and he listened to my questions about the diagnosis. During the second attemp to remedy the problem, Don even explained that the original fix was the problem and fixed it at no charge or inconvience to me. Please pat this valued employee and nice person on the back for me! Thank you!

My wife and I regularly use Tandem Tire and Auto for all of our maintenance and tire needs. We take our vehicles to them for almost all repair needs - they're fairly priced, efficient, knowledgeable, and friendly. I would strongly recommend them to friends or family.

The folks at Tandem have worked well for us. We have used Tandem for both of our cars. We just recently put new tires on both our vehicles. The staff at Tandem even stayed late to help us get our vehicle out when they promised it.

We have used Tandem for both tire and repair services for several years. They are honest, they don't fix things that don't need fixing. Their service managers explain what work needs to be done. They have given us information on future work that will be needed on our vehicles. Their pricing is fair and competitive. They will give you a ride to work or home and will deliver your vehicle to you. They are open on Saturdays and weekdays until 6 pm. We have never had a bad experience with Tandem. The tires they sell have a good warranty on them, also.
